06.11.2026 Isabelle's Gift Guide

As the days grow shorter and the holiday season approaches, we catch up with our founder, Isabelle Lewenhaupt, on the beauty of slowing down, finding comfort in familiar traditions and appreciating the little things. From winter rituals to thoughtful gifts, she shares what makes this time of year special to her.

How do you embrace the hibernation season?
I welcome the darker months here in Sweden. They make me turn inwards, reflect more and appreciate the small things around me. I stock up on candles, and take long, hot baths. Spending time indoors with my family, painting, playing, reading or simply being together, makes me feel particularly grounded at this time of year. I also love to walk the streets if Stockholm duing the season.

Does winter have a scent?
Snow-covered pine trees in Jämtland. The cold, crisp air and the scent of the forest beneath the snow.

Finish this sentence: Nostalgia to me is…
Cherishing and staying curious about the past. Keeping someone close by carrying on their traditions. Finding comfort in the familiar.

Who would you give Nostalgi to this year?
My mother. She is the very definition of warmth and safety to me, and a constant source of creative inspiration.

And what are you secretly hoping to unwrap from the BB's Holiday Collection?
The beautiful bells from our Artefacts collection, which I would love to add to my decorations. The Nostalgi candle, to make the house feel like a warm hug. And our Herbal Smudges, foraged and bound by hand at our farm in Fäviken. I love how they bring nature and ritual together in such a simple, raw form.
