Discovery Set Signature Collection

The fragrances are very unique and one of a kind, not like other typical perfumes. I expected them to be more different from each other, but they share a similar base note. The base note is pleasant although - but not very feminine which would have suited better for my personal scent taste.

Unlike what I expected, the fragrances do not remind me of northern nature, fjells or forests, at least from a Finnish point of view. Still, the scents are nice overall, and I plan to order one of them for myself. Overall, the collection is worth trying, even though I am still looking for a clean, northern nature–inspired perfume.

I don’t think I disliked any of these scents! Mareld was probably my absolute favourite, but I loved wearing September and Botanist too. So nice to be able to try all the scents before committing to a bigger bottle. Very happy with this!

This is the best line of fragrances I’ve had the pleasure of getting my nose on. While not all of them were for me, I have

nothing bad to say about a single one.

Starting with my least favorites, but lovely nonetheless; Never Spring is tart, breezy, and uplifting, fit for a garden princess. Botanist is green and masculine but still fresh, my least favorite but it would smell great on my partner. September is a comforting autumnal scent. It’s so chic, a little smoky and powdery, and strays far from that overtly spicy profile I usually dislike like about autumn perfumes. Fjällsjö reminds me almost exactly of Mojave Ghost by Byredo but lacking the fruity element, and a touch lighter — a clean dream!

Now, the three I was most impressed by: Mareld, White Forest, and Ros. Mareld is an impressive take on an oceanic scent. It’s aquatic and salty, borderline briny. I can taste the salt in the back of my throat when I smell it! The fig and herbal notes work beautifully together.

White Forest was my second favorite, and it smells perfect in brisk winter air, but it doesn’t stray into cold or “menthol” territory. I love the pine accord, the powdery florals with the citrus accords give it a glowing warmth. It feels like sunlight breaking through snow-shrouded trees in a fantastical forest. If you’ve ever seen Anastasia, White Forest is what I imagine Anya would smell like!

Finally, Ros stole my heart. It opens with a delicate lavender that blends into creamy orris and magnolia.…

I really appreciate an opportunity to but perfumes in discovery set, because usually I use them a little, just to have a glimpse of smell. So are Bjork and Berries perfumes itself fit very well - they are light, not loud and over-complicated, but also not boring at all, catchy and comfortable to wear. My favourite from this set is ros - sweet and wet as wild roses after the rain
